The XR version of Fallout: Factions — originally a physical 1v1 board game released in 2024 — is reportedly launching first on Xreal Aura next month. True to the tabletop original, it centers on turn-based squad-level tactical combat in the Fallout universe, with immersive 3D battlefield maps and gestures for rolling dice, moving units and attacking. It will later come to Android XR, implying support for Samsung Galaxy XR, and a Steam version is also on the way, though it is unclear whether that will be VR or flatscreen.

Reportedly, the XR version of Fallout: Factions will debut on the Xreal Aura next month; the game was originally a physical 1v1 board game released in 2024. The XR version keeps the Fallout universe, centering on turn-based encounters consistent with the physical board game, focused on squad-level tactical play and strategic planning. It also features an immersive 3D battlefield map and hand-gesture interaction, letting players roll dice, move units, and launch attacks directly with gestures. The game was originally slated to launch alongside the first batch of Xreal Aura devices, and it will later come to the Android XR platform as well, which means support for Samsung's Galaxy XR. In addition, the company revealed that a Steam version is coming soon, though it has not said whether that version will be a VR mode or a standard flat version.
